Duke football coach Mark Gottfried said he plans to televise Saturday’s home opener against Miami.
The Hurricanes (7-6, 4-5 Atlantic Coast Conference) have been without starting quarterback Ryan Switzer, who is recovering from surgery to repair a torn meniscus in his right knee.
Gottfried has also been battling the flu.
He was unable to make it to Miami on Thursday because of the flu, but he plans on being available to watch Saturday’s game.
Duke hosts Miami (9-4, 6-4) for a matchup that is scheduled to kick off at 3:30 p.m.
The Blue Devils will host South Carolina on Friday night at 7 p.s.m., but that matchup has not been confirmed.
Gottfred said he will announce his lineup for Saturday’s contest on Thursday.
