Why Auburn’s ‘Dream Team’ of QBs is a longshot (and that might not be so hard to understand)

With five new recruits, Auburn now has four quarterbacks in the class of 2018, with the three top-ranked prospects in the 2018 class, Jordon James, Jalen Hurts and Jalen Hurd, the most-touted of the group.

The group is comprised of three QBs who were on the radar of most teams.

The only one of those three, JUCO transfer Austin Pettis, is the No. 2 prospect in the 247Sports Composite.

But that’s only the beginning of what Auburn has to offer.

A year ago, the Tigers made their recruiting rankings, and the group that was the No.

“Dream Team” of quarterbacks was a three-way tie between Auburn, Florida State and Georgia.

And with all the new talent, Auburn’s recruiting rankings have risen in 2018, as they have for all three years combined.
