The recruiting company that hired former Texas coach Mack Brown for the position of director of recruiting is hiring a former Mississippi State football coach for the same job.
Former LSU coach Jeff Brohm will be the first coach to be hired by the company, which also includes former Texas head coach Mack Rademacher and former Mississippi coach Chris Mack.
Brohm’s appointment will take place at the end of the month.
He will serve as interim director of recruitment.
He has been with the university since 2010.
Brodhm will become the third former player hired to the job of recruiting coordinator at the school.
He previously worked at LSU from 2008 to 2014.
Brown, a former Florida State head coach, served as a head coach at the University of Texas from 1999 to 2007 and also played in the NFL.
He is the sixth former player to be employed by the university.
