The recruiting frenzy is still rolling, but the recruitment frenzy at Texas is getting a lot bigger.
The Longhorns are reportedly in the final stages of adding a pair of recruits to their class.
According to 247Sports, Texas has committed two more commits to its 2017 class with an unofficial visit to the campus scheduled for March 13.
The official visit will be the first for the 2018 class and the first since the 2017 class was revealed on March 6.
247Sports ranks Texas No. 6 among the top 100 prospects nationally, and the Longhorns were one of the top programs in the country before the recruiting frenzy kicked into high gear.
The recruiting class is led by defensive end David Dantonio and cornerback Jordan Williams, who both committed to Texas in March.
Both players are ranked as the No. 11 overall prospect and the No 1 cornerback in the state of Texas.
According a report from 247Sports’ Matt Harmon, the Longhorn commitment to Dantonios is “the most highly-anticipated signing in Texas recruiting history.”
Texas is ranked No. 12 nationally and No. 8 in the Big 12.
